Feng Shui Considerations For Burial Sites In The United States

Hello everyone, to kick off the Feng Shui in the United States series, we are in a cemetery in the United States, where alongside the traditional practice of preserving cremated remains, burial is still common among Americans, including both Caucasians and Asians. In various areas, tombstones stand upright resembling Asian traditions, such as those found in Vietnam, while in others, they lie flat like military gravestones. Do these aspects affect Feng Shui? Certainly. To understand these influences, one needs special skills.

There are well-maintained tombstones and those placed uncomfortably close to large trees, which is considered unfavorable. If a tree's shadow falls directly on or its roots encroach upon a grave, it's also not ideal. Uneven or tilted tombstones, or those on sloped ground, can affect descendants depending on their alignment with the dragon or tiger. Wealthier Americans often have stone tombstones with grass around them, while Vietnamese graves are often entirely covered in granite, which is not ideal for Feng Shui as it disrupts the flow of energy.

When considering Feng Shui, priority should be given to the surrounding vegetation, especially grass. Catholic graves typically feature a crucifix atop the tombstone, along with flower vases. Water features, if near a grave, can impact Feng Shui due to their sound, which could be considered ominous. Correct placement of water features can influence prosperity, while improper positioning may lead to debts. Waterfalls should ideally be in front of the tombstone, and if visible, can bring positive energy. However, if behind the grave, causing excessive noise, it's unfavorable.

While the scenery might appear picturesque, Feng Shui considerations might not always align with aesthetic preferences.
