Many believe that Western countries, including the USA, do not adhere to Feng Shui principles, yet they remain wealthy and influential. This notion is a misconception. With a bit of Feng Shui knowledge and a visit to the nation's capital, Washington, one can witness how skillfully Feng Shui is applied. Let's start with the most powerful center of authority in the USA—the White House, the residence of the President, symbolizing the pinnacle of power in the country and the world. The White House is structured with a north-facing orientation, following traditional Feng Shui principles, with a large mountain range to the north and northwest, forming an excellent Protective Qi barrier.

Looking towards the south, the main facing direction, one finds the convergence of two rivers—Potomac and Anacostia—a symbol of harmonious water elements merging, creating a robust energy field. The area is strategically designed, aligning with the principles of Feng Shui, with landmarks such as Capitol Hill to the left, representing the Vermilion Bird, associated with intellect and literature. To the right lies the Lincoln Memorial area, honoring the deceased, embodying the White Tiger, associated with defense and military power, evident in nearby institutions like the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery.

The Tidal Basin, situated to the west of the White House, features the Washington Monument, resembling a tall pen writing in the sky, symbolizing the aspirations for a well-rounded leader—a warrior and a scholar. Notably, many US Presidents have been left-handed, reflecting the affinity with the White Tiger. The convergence of the two rivers, resembling a dragon's embrace, signifies stability and wealth preservation, enhancing the area's Feng Shui. The road networks, constructed in diamond and square shapes, follow the principles of Feng Shui, with north-south and east-west orientations contributing to the creation of the White House.

The term "White House" signifies the metal element—white symbolizes metal, and the interplay between fire and earth contributes to its creation. This alignment fosters intelligent and perceptive leaders. Notably, the President's chamber lies to the west, closer to the western river, chosen deliberately by George Washington for its Feng Shui advantages. These Feng Shui insights reveal the hidden harmony and strategic planning behind the White House's design, which is further explored in Feng Shui courses offered by TMFS (Tường Minh Feng Shui).
